Ric and Anne's Blog suspended, but...

.... I hope to essentially redo it once we're back home. (Or maybe not. Maybe I'll put my energies into something more important—like working to make sure that Trump is not only defeated, but humiliated.)

It turns out that we've been very, very busy with Road Scholar lectures, excursions, and Holland American activities both educational and entertainment. And, taking the advice of our daughter and other family members, I've taken time to relax, read, write (non-blog), and undertake some nerdy projects. But I have taken lots of photos and am spending a lot of time culling and editing those and filing and creating Powerpoint slides of them by cruise day. So, I hope to eventually reopen our blog and start again, systematically, presenting it the way I would have done had I had the energy and time to do so. So, stay tuned, but don't hold your breath. But here are some things I've posted to the TripChat photo archive set up for our group. (Because of how I'm doing this, the resolution is less than original photos.) In reverse temporal order:

Malé, Maldives

This is a playground apparatus in Malé, Maldives that I've never seen before. A three dimensional sort of spider net. I'd find it a little scary as a kid, caught in one of this pockets!

At a fishing boat pier in Malé. This fellow caught this fish off the pier with simple hand thrown line. What kind is it? Red snapper, of course!

At the end of the pier looking down there were beautiful fish, clown, blue neon, and stingrays.

Da Nang, Vietnam

  1. Two wheels rule, indeed! I wish the USA was less four-wheel-centric
